Advanced Lactation of Southern Oregon

Carrie has been a lactation consultant for more than 10 years and her experience merges the two worlds of private practice and her hospital postpartum and NICU experience. She understands the transition from hospital to home is one that may take time and extra support.

She has completed a year-long holistic lactation program and her focus is on identifying root cause issues. Her specialty areas include: assessing babies head to toe to identify issues that may be contributing to feeding difficulties, oral habilitation for tongue ties, bottle refusal/difficulties, gut health (both parent and baby) and milk supply concerns.

She welcomes the opportunity to support local families with ANY lactation concern. She is also available to assess flange fit for pumping or returning to work.

Hi, I’m Jackie—a mother of four, licensed  midwife, doula and IBCLC with over 10 years of maternal care experience and 6+ years specializing in lactation support.

I provide holistic, evidence-based in-home lactation care with a mind, body, and spirit approach, helping families navigate breastfeeding with confidence and compassion.

Proudly serving Grants Pass and surrounding communities, I accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP) and am currently the only IBCLC offering in-home lactation visits in the Grants Pass area.
