Tracy L. Hanson

Tracy has been a birth doula since 1999 and has attended over 1300 births. She has 10 years experience as an Oregon Certified THW Birth Doula and is a trainer of THW Birth Doulas as a satellite instructor of the Community Doula Program based in Corvallis, Oregon.

She is the Director of Doula Services for the volunteer doula program at Providence Medford Medical Center. Tracy is certified to teach childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, newborn care, Spinning Babies, Infant Massage, and she leads tours of the Providence BirthPlace.  She facilitates 2 postpartum parent support groups each week, sponsored by Providence Medford Medical Center. She provides education to families, care providers, and community organizations. She onboards newly hired Labor and Delivery nurses and provides ongoing support for maternity care staff as well.

Tracy has 4 adult children and is “Nonny” to her grandson.
